Abstract
This article offers a discussion of some of the dilemmas posed by the teaching of sociology, linking them to the state of crisis experienced by the discipline and the social and educational changes that have accompanied its evolution. In particular, we aim to address three kinds of questions: how to deal with the epistemic fragmentation and the public decline of sociology in our teaching practice?; how to focus the teaching of the sociological contents -specifically, of subjects such as theory and methods- to achieve that our students learn to do sociology?; and how can collective debate and cooperative work help us to improve our teaching strategies?
