Abstract

Urinary tract abnormalities are the most common congenital anomalies in general and include various changes in the shape, position and mass of the kidneys, changes in the renal vascular system, cystic kidney disease, kidney position abnormalities, ureteral, bladder and urethral anomalies. The incidence is about 30% of all congenital anomalies. Today, numerous surgical methods (endoscopic, minimally invasive and open) are available for the treatment of congenital anomalies of the urinary tract. In this review, we present the most common anomalies of the urinary tract in children and modalities of surgical treatment.
