Abstract

A discussion on diamonds in Canada revolves around the study of kimberlite occurrences, which are primary sources of diamonds. This paper therefore lists briefly the known kimberlite occurrences and describes the diamonds found to date. It should be realized that the source(s) of all of the diamonds found have not yet been defined. The search for diamonds in Canada is a continuing process.
