Abstract

The light-absorbing perovskite layer fabricated using the NH4Cl additive shows high crystallinity and better morphology. The resulting solar cells gave a decent power conversion efficiency of 9.93% and a fill factor record of 80.11%. This work provides a very simple but effective approach to enhance the power conversion efficiency of perovskite solar cells. © 2014 the Partner Organisations.
