Censura moral na ditadura brasileira: entre o direito e a política

Abstract

Resumo O presente artigo tem por objetivo analisar o processo de estruturação de um aparato de censura moral durante a ditadura civil-militar de 1964. Por meio da revisão crítica da literatura historiográfica especializada e de uma síntese das principais diretrizes legais sobre o tema, com destaque para o pensamento do jurista Alfredo Buzaid, discute-se o estatuto da censura moral e sua relação com a censura estritamente política.Abstract This article aims to analyze the construction of a moral censorship apparatus during the 1964 civil-military dictatorship. Through a critical review of the specialized historiographical literature and a synthesis of the main legal guidelines on the subject, with emphasis on the thought of the jurist Alfredo Buzaid, the text discusses the statute of moral censorship and its relation to strictly political censorship.
