Abstract

Conducted a follow-up study of the generalization and maintenance of convenience-store purchasing skills shaped with a behavioral repertoire in simulation settings and with a delayed prompt procedure and live modeling in the natural environment. Human S: One female Japanese adolescent (aged 13 yrs 10 mo) (autism and mental retardation) (mental age of 3 yrs 8 mo). The S's mother recorded the girl's training and videotaped her subsequent use of the purchasing skills in daily life. A follow-up assessment was done about 5 mo after the training, based in part on a questionnaire completed by the S's mother.
