Abstract

The influence of chemical admixtures (superplasticizer-retarder) and active silica minerals (fraction less than 45 μm) in cement hydration, mechanical strength increase and variations of the physical properties of light weight mortars with partially zeolitized Cuban tuffs is evaluated.
