Abstract

The article discusses Marxist Feminist perspectives and educational research. Topics explored include the areas of study of neo-Marxist researchers such as Pauline Lipman and Lois Weiner, the acknowledgment of social reproduction theories and insights of philosophers such as Louis Althusser, and the educational application of the theory of gender codes conceptualized by sociology professor Madeleine Arnot.
