Abstract

This examination of the EU's participation in international environmental negotiations reveals the internal decision-making process behind multilateral environmental agreements. The book's empirical evidence is based on an extensive review of existing literature, primary and semi-confidential document research, as well as interviews with EU decision-makers. It is a valuable resource for readers interested in EU politics and decision-making, global/multilateral governance, environmental policy science and methodological development of Qualitative Comparative Analysis. © Tom Delreux 2011.
