This paper deals on the challenges and encounters of a master's degree research trajectory which is initially built on 'Arts-Based Research' (ABR), also known as 'Arts Based Educational Research' (ABER), to produce its own methodological ways. For so, it involves detours, doubts and experimentations which articulate images, education, art, literature, narrative and quotidian spaces, so that the dissertation's writing and reading happen as a place of creation. Narrative and photographic elements, which build routes by narration, are then linked so that the images do not explain phenomena, but instead they open possibilities to other constructions, other learnings.
