Abstract
The developmental disparities in Ngargoyoso Subdistrict occur among villages/districts evident through the diversity of infrastructure concentrated at several points. The existence of service centers is crucial for accelerating regional growth and development, thus optimizing the role of service centers is necessary. The objective of this research is to identify and analyze the dissemination of hierarchical structures and spatial orientation based on service centers in Ngargoyoso Subdistrict. The methods used in this research involve the scalogram and centrality index to identify regions with high hierarchy as economic growth centers indicated by numerous function types and high centrality. The findings show four hierarchies in Ngargoyoso Subdistrict. Level I is located in Kemuning Village with a centrality index value of 654.52, Level III in Girimulyo Village with a centrality index value of 306.48 and Berjo Village with 205.42, whereas Level IV includes Segorogunung Village with 34.60, Nglegok Village with 47.25, Jatirejo Village with 53.15, Puntukrejo Village with 146.16, and Ngargoyoso Village with a centrality index value of 188.36. The priority for regional development in Ngargoyoso Subdistrict is focused on villages/districts at Level IV, guided by the spatial planning guidelines of the Karanganyar Regency Regional Spatial Plan.
