PENURUNAN TINGKAT FUNGSI SEKSUAL SEBAGAI SALAH SATU EFEK SAMPING PEMAKAIAN KONTRASEPSI DMPA JANGKA PANJANG

Abstract

Latar belakang : Kontrasepsi DMPA menjadi salah satu kontrasepsi yang paling diminati di Indonesia. Kontrasepsi ini dianggap paling praktis, sederhana, murah dan tidak perlu takut lupa. Setiap akseptor sebaiknya menyadari efek samping dari setiap kontrasepsi, supaya dapat memilih kontrasepsi yang sesuai dengan kondisi kesehatan dan kebutuhannya. Salah satu efek samping yang mungkin terjadi akibat dari pemakaian kontrasepsi DMPA adalah penurunan libido (gairah seksual). Tujuan : Mengetahui korelasi lama pemakaian kontrasepsi DMPA dengan tingkat fungsi seksual. Metode penelitian : Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah akseptor DMPA di BPM Christine Sulastri Lamper, Semarang yang berjumlah 81 responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji statistik Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian : Rata-rata responden telah memakai DMPA 2,39 tahun dengan nilai tengah 2 tahun. Rata-rata responden memiliki nilai fungsi seksual 72,27 dengan nilai tengah 72. Ada korelasi yang bermakna antara lama pemakaian kontrasepsi DMPA dengan tingkat fungsi seksual (p=0,000), korelasi kuat dan berlawanan arah (r=-0,799). Kesimpulan : Semakin lama pemakaian kontrasepsi DMPA akan semakin menurunkan tingkat fungsi seksual. Pemberi pelayanan kontrasepsi DMPA, terutama Bidan diharapkan untuk dapat memberikan penjelasan yang bijak tentang adanya penurunan fungsi seksual sebagai salah satu efek sampingnya. Para akseptor DMPA sebaiknya tidak memakai kontrasepsi DMPA lebih dari 2 tahun, supaya fungsi seksual tetap optimal. Kata Kunci : Kontrasepsi DMPA; Fungsi Seksual   DECRESED OF SEXUAL FUNCTION AS A SIDE EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM USE OF CONTRACEPTIVES DMPA Abstract Background : Contraceptive DMPA become one of the most popular in Indonesia. Contraception is considered the most practical, simple, cheap and does not need to be afraid of forgetting. Each acceptor should be aware of the side effects of any contraception, in order to choose a suitable contraceptive health conditions and needs. One of the side effects that may occur as a result of the use of contraceptive DMPA is decreased libido (sexual desire). Objective : To determine the long correlation with the level of contraceptive use DMPA sexual function. Methods : This type of research is quantitative with cross sectional approach. The sample in this study is the acceptor of DMPA in BPM Christine Sulastri Lamper, Semarang numbering 81 respondence. The sampling technique is accidental sampling. In this study, using the Spearman Rank. Result : The average respondent has used DMPA 2.39 years with a median value of 2 years. The average respondent had sexual function value of 72.27 by the middle value 72. There is a significant correlation between the duration of use of contraceptive DMPA with the level of sexual function (p = 0.000), and the opposite direction is a strong correlation (r = -0.799). Conclusion : The longer the contraceptive use DMPA will further reduce the level of sexual function. DMPA contraceptives service providers, especially midwives are expected to be able to provide an explanation wise about their decline in sexual function as a side effect. The acceptor DMPA DMPA contraceptives should not take more than two years, so that sexual function remains optimal. Keywords : Contraception DMPA; Sexual Function
