Abstract

In order to optimize the calculation method of carbon emissions in the operation stage of public buildings, a model for calculating carbon emissions in the operation stage of public buildings was established based on BIM technology. Through selecting a primary school in Guangzhou city as an example to study carbon emissions, the analysis results show that the total annual carbon emissions during the operation phase of the building are 139.6 tco2. The results provide a reference for further optimizing the calculation of carbon emissions in public buildings.
