Abstract
Problems found in this study regarding the lack of creativity of young children. This study aims to apply learning through play unit to increase kreativita beam after beam applied learning through play unit in Group B children kindergarten Khadija Al Kubro Bangkinang second semester of school year 2014-2015. This study uses a type of quasi experimental design with "Nonequivalent Control Group Design", involving 18 children as a control group and 20 children as the experimental group. Data were taken by observation. Results of the study were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The result showed that an increase in creativity with the application of learning through play beam unit in the experimental group, the creativity of children increased significantly compared with the control group. So, there is an increase in early childhood creativity as applied learning through play beam unit by 24.76%.
