Abstract

A solid knowledge of the anatomy of the eye and orbit is important for a full understanding of the functioning of the normal ocular system and is crucial for the diagnostic interpretation of the signs and symptoms of a diseased state. This overview will approach the eye from the surface. The structures will be explored anterior to posterior, similar to how patients are examined.
