Abstract
This research focuses on inventory management in Peru's container glass products manufacturer. Glass is a packaging option aligned to human safety and planet sustainability. We analyzed its strategic situation aligned to its operational plan. Then, the supply chain strategy develops an inbound raw material and outbound products balance, with the interactions between purchasing, production and sales. The proposed solution optimized the paint flow, reduced its inventory and its related material obsolescence. The stored data existed in the SAP S/4 Hana cloud system, simplifying the project execution from the bottom line to the up line and relating with the company's green line vision. Due to the increasing influence of the information systems and their implementation for specific problems, we presented an MRP, S&OP or IBP dilemma.
