Abstract
This article analyzes students´ perceptions of the digital skills of their teachers in five Colombian universities. A quantitative methodology, in the form of a questionnaire, was used: it was completed by 606 students of Social Communication, who evaluated their teachers´ (communicative, ICT and pedagogical) skills, in accordance with the standards established by the Colombian National Ministry of Education, in terms of three levels of mastery: Explorer, Integrator and Innovator. The teachers received a positive evaluation, with the Communicative aspect gaining the highest score (91.30 %). The article proposes a transition from the learning of technology to learning with technology.
