Abstract

In this paper we present our experience from a distributed software development project supported with basic Internet tools. In particular we focus on how these basic tools can be used for supporting the involvement of users in the development process. We sketch some observations, presenting some advantages and disadvantages of using such a basic cooperation infrastructure. Finally we highlight some requirements for lightweight groupware systems overcoming the described drawbacks.
