Abstract
An in vitro model has been developed for the purpose of evaluating the cleaning ability of dentifrices. A stained film is slowly deposited on enamel sections and subsequently removed using a mechanical brushing procedure. Results from this test procedure compare favorably with the results of controlled, clinical cleaning studies. © 1982, SAGE Publications. All rights reserved.
