A pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis diagnosed by lung biopsy is presented. Characteristics of this disease are the unknown etiology, familial incidence, rare pulmonary troubles and a rather characteristic thorax Xray. Its slow course is little influenced by the treatment, which is only symptomatic.
