Abstract

The authors list 22 species of Simuliidae collected at 21 stations in several hydrographic networks. Many species arenew for Turkey. The biogeographic analysis shows that we are essentially dealing with an european palearctic faunaof which 9 elements have a largely european distribution.The oriental element is represented by the subgenus Wilhelmia. © Masson, 1990.
