Abstract

The use of a direct analog reactivity meter was studied for the measurements of small reactivities down to 0.01 pcm. The difference between the stable reactor flux and the instantaneous flux is processed in a specially designed reactivity meter producing an output which is the casual reactivity change as a function of time. With a simplified reactor model an error analysis was made, and test measurements executed on the EC0 reactor. © 1968.
