Catalogue des collemboles de France

Abstract

The list of the 745 species of springtails (Hexapoda, Collembola) recorded from metropolitan France, Corsica included, is given with details of their distributions (5120 sampled sites). The studies of these species are gathered with key words. This work is based on the analysis of 554 papers by 210 authors. About 50% of the papers deal with taxonomy s.l. and 50% with ecology, biology, ecophysiology, anatomy or phylogeny. Historical and statistical data are given.
