Abstract

The day care center for the elderly can effectively cope with the continuous aging of the population, which is an important supporting form of China’s community care service system. This paper reviews the research status of domestic day care centers. It is found that there are many problems in the operation of day care centers in China, such as low participation of the elderly and uneven facilities. Furthermore, this paper summarizes the researches on location selection, type positioning, function allocation and service supply carried out by scholars to solve the phenomenon of poor operation status. Some problems existing in the research of day care center in China are summarized.
