Abstract

Ecotourism Mangrove Forest Kuala Langsa is a tourist activity that promotes mangrove forest resources and socio-cultural communities. That the utilization is not damaging, it needs a careful planning of the development. The research objective to design a sustainable tourism development strategy in Kuala Langsa Mangrove Forests. This research has been carried out for 3 months (August to the month of October 2016), the determination of location was done in "purposive". Methods of data collection is done through a literature review, interviews and field observations. Data collected includes data on the condition, the data potential of tourism, visitor data and data management at the time. To develop strategies for sustainable tourism development SWOT analysis approach. Based on the analysis of SWOT approach, tourism development strategy aimed at tourism activities that aim to repair damage to the environment, such as travel planting mangrove, coastal and beach clean festival. Development of mangrove forest tour Kuala Langsa also invites all interested parties to participate and play an active role in preserving natural resources and the environment in the region, so that tourism can continue preserving the natural resources without damaging and benefits can be felt by generations of today and in the future as the cultivation of travel and education travel. In addition, the policies issued by the area manager directed at business conditions improve and preserve natural resources, and integrated into sustainable development planning in a national and international scale.
