Abstract

By analysing the testimony of users of psychotropic drugs (legal and/or illegal) who are in regular employment, the authors explore the social side of drug consumption : how the users of these substances manage their habit and integrate them within their professional environment ; how the use of psychotropic drugs, that sometimes is a source of exclusion, can also help social and professional adaptation. This work was funded by the OFDT (French Observatory on drugs and addictions).
