Intravenous hyoscine-N-butyl bromide for aiding colonoscopy

Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: The primary objective will be to ascertain the effects of IVH on the time taken to intubate the caecum and on patient discomfort. Secondarily, we will examine the effects of IVH on polyp detection and miss rates and drug side effects (tachycardia/blurred vision/xerostomia).
