Abstract
This research intends to investigate the effects of music in developing the joint attention skills in a child with autism spectrum disorder. This carried out a targeted intervention program, developed from music therapy resources, which is our independent variable. The method used included different activities directed towards developing the child's joint attention skills, the dependent variable. For the verification of a significant effect of music on joint attention skills, an experimental design of multiple time series modified was used. The results, obtained from observation at various times of the process, suggest a meaningful relationship between them.
