Abstract
The rapid advancement of information technology has driven significant transformation across various sectors, including community-based religious education. At TPQ Al-Muwahhidin, the monitoring process of Qur’an memorization was previously conducted using conventional manual recording methods, which led to potential data inaccuracies, delays in information delivery, and limitations in conducting comprehensive progress evaluations. This study aims to develop and implement a web-based information system for monitoring Qur’an memorization to support systematic, structured, and efficient tracking of students’ memorization progress. The system is designed with two primary user roles: teachers as administrators and evaluators, and students as users who access assignments, submit memorization records, and monitor their learning progress. The system was developed using the waterfall model, and its functionality was tested through black box testing to ensure conformity between system requirements and implemented features. The testing results indicate that all core system features operate according to specifications without critical errors. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance learning effectiveness, improve data accuracy, and strengthen sustainable memorization monitoring within TPQ Al-Muwahhidin.
