Abstract

2-Substituted benzimidazoles have been synthesized in good yields from benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole-4,5-diamine and aromatic aldehydes in the presence of catalytic amount of CuPy2Cl2, ground at room temperature. ©ARKAT USA, Inc.
