Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of workload on the performance of student interns in the MSIB 7 program at the DPR RI in 2024. Workload is a factor that affects the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of individuals in the world of work, including student interns who undergo a practical learning process in a professional environment. Excessive workload can cause stress, fatigue, and decreased motivation, while workload that is too low can cause boredom and inefficiency. This research uses a quantitative approach with associative methods. The sampling technique was carried out by simple random sampling with a total of 30 internship students as respondents. Data were collected through a Likert scale-based questionnaire and analyzed using a simple linear regression test. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between workload and internship student performance with a Pearson Correlation value of 0.601. Thus, it can be concluded that good workload management can improve the performance of internship students, while excessive workload can reduce work effectiveness.
