Abstract
Psoriasis is a common chronic dermatological disease whose prevalence varies among different populations worldwide. In epidemiological studies, the factors that potentially account for this variability include climate, genetic susceptibility, and environmental antigen exposure. In this issue, Parisi et al. performed a systematic review to explore the global prevalence and incidence of psoriasis. © 2013 The Society for Investigative Dermatology.
