Les fondements de l’éducation intégrale polytechnique: De la théorie à la pratique

Abstract

This paper aims at presenting the epistemological, pedagogical and political grounds for a comprehensive education proposal, created in light of the historical-critical pedagogy and guided by the pedagogical principle of polytechnics. Therefore, one rescues the notion of this concept, from the Marxian conception until the interpretations made by some of the most important Brazilian authors in this field, whose theoretical support was put into practice via a social laboratory experience, between January 2005 and August 2006, in the city of Ariquemes, northern Brazil, whose results showed the feasibility of a comprehensive education model, whose purpose is human emancipation, under the Marxist perspective.
