Abstract
Jakarta Barat waste management is by disposing of waste at the Bantar Gebang TPST landfill. The capacity of the Bantar Gebang TPST is almost full therefore waste processing facilities are needed to reduce the amount of waste sent to the landfill. Waste to energy technology processes waste into electrical energy. The Decision Matrix and additional parameters are used to assess technology that is suitable based on the waste management conditions in Jakarta Barat. The application of MBT technology in Jakarta Barat, able to reduce waste sent to landfill, improve waste management, and produce RDF with high electrical energy potential. The incineration and anaerobic digestion technology can be applied after the waste management system is advanced and the implementation of economic incentives.
