Abstract

A masonry wall subjected to earthquake global acceleration field is subjected to both in-plane and out-of-plane loads. The interaction between these two types of forces in the geopolymer-based interlocking block mortarless wall is presented based on experimental results. The test results show that there is a considerable amount of interaction between in-plane and out-of-plane capacity of interlocking block walls.
