Abstract

Supports for transition metal complexes with decreased bleeding out in supercrit. CO2 solvents for the title reaction are based on polyethoxylated 4-hydroxyethylstyrene polymers or N-substituted acrylamide-styrene copolymer-silica gel adducts. A typical support was manufd. by reaction of trans-3-(4-isopropoxy-3-vinylphenyl)acrylic acid with Hypogel 400 [divinylbenzene-amine-terminated ethoxylated 4-hydroxyethylstyrene (ethoxylation degree 10) copolymer].
