Report on some pholcid spiders collected in Guatemala and Honduras (Araneae, Pholcidae)

Abstract

Descriptions and redescriptions of nine pholcid species from Guatemala and Honduras are given. The following species are new: Modisimus pana sp.n., Mod. ixobel sp.n., and Metagonia asintal sp.n. from Guatemala, Modisimus lancetilla sp.n. and 'Coryssocnemis' tigra sp.n. from Honduras. For two species the males are newly described: Metagonia blanda Gertsch, 1973 and Met. belize Gertsch, 1986. Two species are redescribed: 'Coryssocnemis' furcula Cambridge, 1902 and Modisimus cornutus Kraus, 1955.
