Abstract
Premature rupture of membranes occur if the membranes broke before spontan’s labour and after 1 hours there are no signs of labor. It can be caused by an infection of the membranes and amniotic fluid by various microorganisms or bacteria that entering by ascending cervical route and produce prostaglandins and make membranes become thin and weak. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of cervical diplococcus intracellular with premature rupture of membranes. This is an analytic correlation research with retrospective approach that use study documentation in Poly IMS of Malang Government’s Clinic.. The technique sampling on this research is total sampling with the number of samples are 18 respondens. Analyzing data using Fisher's Exact Test that obtained significance is 0.022 (less than 0.05) which means there is a relationship between cervical diplococcus intracellular with premature rupture of membrans. Keywords : Premature Rupture of Membranes, Intracellular Cervical Diplococcus
