Abstract
Working together in a unique partnership, IBM, Siemens, and Toshiba engineers are laying the groundwork for the 256-megabit Dynamic Random Access Memory chip - quite literally the memory of the future. Capable of storing incredible quantities of information, the chip will open the door to automatic speech recognition, smart robots, and image recognition systems.
