Abstract

Developments during the past four years in the field of welding technology have been characterized mainly by continued development of machines and tools, coupled with a better command of the available welding energy. The present article describes the progress that has been made in high frequency, ultrasonic, thermal contact and thermal impulse welding. For figures see German text.
