Abstract
Based on the results of the cognitive level analysis in the Pusmenjar reading literacy AKM questions exercise with a total of 21 questions, there are 6 questions at cognitive level 1 (finding information, there are 12 questions at the cognitive level 2 (understanding) and there are 3 questions at cognitive level 3 (evaluating and reflecting). To formulate good test questions, the author must equip himself with mastery at the cognitive level of students. Therefore, the low learning achievement of students and the low grades in students' reading literacy AKM are not solely caused by students' misunderstandings, but those who design questions must master the cognitive level of each level in students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The purpose of this study is to determine the cognitive level in the AKM reading literacy questions for Pusmenjar.
