Abstract

Research has shown that elderly people may change their eating habits. It is not therefore a hopeless task to try to give nutrition education to this group. Education acitivities among the over 70's are outlined. A longitudinal project investigating the need for and effectiveness of nutrition education in preretirement is summarised.
