Abstract

With this issue, Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology (SEPP) enters its 12th year of publication. As the new editor for the journal, I am acutely aware that I have big shoes to fill. I extend particular gratitude to my predecessor, Professor Maria Kavussanu, who has expertly steered the journal over the past 6 years, as it has progressed from strength to strength. SEPP is now firmly established as one of the leading journals in sport and exercise psychology, while also embracing a unique additional focus on performance psychology.
