Abstract

Taxonomic properties of actinomycete strain KMR-593, a soil isolate, which produces new anti-anaerobe antibiotics, clostomicins, were investigated. The strain was identified as a new subspecies of the genus Micromonospora and designated Micromonospora echinospora subsp. armeniaca subsp. nov. © 1986, JAPAN ANTIBIOTICS RESEARCH ASSOCIATION.
