Abstract

Design systems have become essential in developing product applications, thanks to their scalability and structured architecture, which help maintain coherence across numerous complex projects. These systems incorporate design and development related to visualization, paperwork, and code style. With a design system, an organization can optimize its work process, avoid repetition, and maintain UX similarity between different products and applications. It is also worth noting that such design systems are relatively modular, whose flexibility allows teams to make appropriate adjustments for various projects or new demands without greatly impacting the overall design. In addition, design systems also benefit the cooperation between designers and developers, establishing a common language and valuable tools. While digital products become more multifaceted, design systems allow the future development of products and the sustained quality of design.
