Abstract

This paper presents a shape design sensitivity analysis of the effect of geometrical parameters on torque pulsations of an interior permanent magnet (IPM) synchronous motor. The analysis was conducted in two dimensions using the finite element method (FEM). Calculation results have been compared with experimental results. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
