Abstract

This article deals with the contribution that can be made to the pressing need of a change in the understanding and practice of education. To achieve this, it focuses on educational differences and the possibility of approaching the issue from a dynamic, positive perspective, subject to permanent learning. It is based on the emerging contributions from different scientific and technological fields (especially those of educational neuroscience, studies on multiple intelligences and their evolution, adaptive learning and resilience) which are influencing or may influence educational practice and which affect the conception of inclusive education. The essay suggests a line of educational research which may make that approach move forward, being raised from the positive acknowledgment of diversity and thus, contributing to educational change.
