Abstract

Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) is now considered as one of the most promising technologies in multiple access technologies in 5G mobile communications. In this paper, we provided a power allocation algorithm in NOMA based on particle swarm optimization (PSO). PSO is an intelligent algorithm that starts from a random solution and finds the optimal solution through iteration. The simulation results show that the PSO-based power allocation method can greatly improve the system's energy efficiency.
