Abstract

Poncokusumo District is one of the 33 districts currently in Malang Regency, which geographically is an area with land conditions in the form of stretches of land that tend to be hilly because it is located on the western slopes of Mount Semeru, most of which is productive land at high altitudes. between 600 and 1200 meters above sea level with average rainfall between 2300 mm to 2500 mm per year and an average temperature of 19.7 degrees Celsius. In Sukosari hamlet, firewood is still used as fuel for cooking, there are no facilities for processing cattle waste, usually cow dung is thrown directly into the ditches. The solution to the problem is to provide counseling and explanations about the application and use of biogas reactor technology using livestock manure. Providing insight into renewable energy to partners in the use of livestock manure so that it is hoped that the need for and dependence on fuel oil can be reduced. Increased partner knowledge about the potential of livestock manure which can be used as renewable energy to support the local economy.
