Abstract

Last month Foxconn announced it is aiming to add one million production robots to manufacturing lines to replace human labor for simple and repetitive processes. From a manufacturing perspective, it's exciting news; it's where the future of manufacturing is headed. At the same time, it's quite frightening and represents a sea change for the industry.
